Marc Ribault\u00a0: Anan, qu\u2019est-ce qui est \u00e0 l\u2019origine de la pi\u00e8ce WelCOME\u00a0?<\/h5>

Anan Atoyama\u00a0: Une phrase m\u2019a fortement frapp\u00e9e\u00a0a la lecture d\u2019un article de voyage par une japonaise, qui revenait d\u2019une contr\u00e9e instable,\u00a0:\u00a0\u201dJ\u2019ai re\u00e7u d\u2019innombrables \u201cwelcome\u201d exclam\u00e9s par les habitants.\u00a0J\u2019ai ressenti \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 beaucoup de peine\u201d\u00a0:\u00a0Alors que \u201cwelcome\u201d v\u00e9hicule g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un sentiment de paix, de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de chaleur\u00a0humaine, il se transforma en tristesse dans l\u2019oreille de cette japonaise.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

J\u2019imagine que cette derni\u00e8re a v\u00e9cu ce mot d\u2019accueil comme une invitation des habitants \u00e0 partager leur histoire, \u00e0 devenir le t\u00e9moin de leur situation, sans toutefois qu\u2019elle puisse agir ou changer quoi que ce soit. Ce mot\u00a0\u201cwelcome\u201d\u00a0avait alors r\u00e9sonn\u00e9 comme le symbole d\u2019une fatalit\u00e9 d\u2019existence, comme le symbole du d\u00e9calage de condition entre un \u00eatre et d\u2019autres. Cette lecture m\u2019a rappel\u00e9\u00a0l\u2019ambigu\u00eft\u00e9 du mot\u00a0\u201cwelcome\u201d, et les\u00a0\u00e9motions\u00a0diverses qui s\u2019en d\u00e9gagent.\u00a0Il m\u2019a sembl\u00e9 int\u00e9ressant d\u2019explorer ses riches symboliques \u00e0 travers une pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>

M.R\u00a0: Comment as-tu travaill\u00e9 sur cette pi\u00e8ce avec les danseurs\u00a0?<\/h5>

A.A\u00a0: Je crois que nos histoires individuelles et collectives sont emmagasin\u00e9es dans nos chairs, et souvent nous n\u2019\u00e9coutons pas ce qu\u2019elles ont \u00e0 nous offrir. C\u2019est ce cadeau pr\u00e9cieux que je tente de faire \u00e9merger chez les danseurs avec qui je travaille. Cela demande de court-circuiter le mental pour laisser parler l\u2019inconscient et la m\u00e9moire au travers du corps. Je cherche, par del\u00e0 les couches soci\u00e9tales et culturelles qui nous modele a tous les niveaux, la puissance et la voix cach\u00e9e du corps avec les danseurs.<\/p>

Et puis, je travaille avec les danseurs sur la notion \u00ab\u00a0\u00eatre\u00a0\u00bb en opposition \u00e0 \u00ab\u00a0para\u00eetre\u00a0\u00bb et sur l\u2019expression des \u00e9motions et des sentiments de mani\u00e8re minimale et concentr\u00e9e. Evidement, le travail du corps est influenc\u00e9 par ma propre culture, japonaise.\u00a0<\/p>

Pourquoi avoir choisi d\u2019utiliser sur sc\u00e8ne des caisses en bois\u00a0?<\/h5>

Les caisses peuvent tout \u00e0 la fois nous prot\u00e9ger d\u2019un environnement hostile, et nous emp\u00eacher\u00a0 de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer un lieu de refuge. C\u2019est la symbolique du mur, dont l\u2019histoire de l\u2019Humanit\u00e9 est p\u00e9trie, qui joue simultan\u00e9ment les deux r\u00f4les, protection et rejet, suivant les perspectives. Elles symbolisent aussi la construction, et par l\u00e0 m\u00eame l\u2019effondrement. On retrouve in\u00e9vitablement ces deux notions quand on souhaite la bienvenue \u00e0 l\u2019inconnu ou au changement en nous-m\u00eames.<\/p>

Enfin, la mati\u00e8re de ces caisses, le bois, a une port\u00e9e symbolique tr\u00e8s forte pour l\u2019Humanit\u00e9. L\u2019arbre est dans de nombreuses cultures porteur de bienveillance, de protection, de refuge, du temps qui passe et change\u2026 mais il est aussi symbole\u00a0 d\u2019immobilisme et de duret\u00e9. Des associations d\u2019id\u00e9es qui interf\u00e8rent avec celles autour de l\u2019acceptation et du refus, th\u00e9matiques de WelCOME.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
