Atlas des Souffles explore la migration et la crise climatique \u00e0 travers la danse et le mouvement. La chor\u00e9graphe japonaise et artiste interdisciplinaire, d\u00e9veloppe le concept de \u00ab cr\u00e9ation directe\u00a0\u00bb, dans lequel l\u2019\u0153uvre \u00e9merge en temps r\u00e9el gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la participation du public. Les spectateurs peuvent choisir de simplement observer ou de s\u2019engager activement, t\u00e9moignant de sculptures humaines et de compositions vivantes qui prennent progressivement forme.<\/div>
La chor\u00e9graphie se d\u00e9veloppe selon un cycle en trois points. Premi\u00e8rement, l\u2019\u00e9coute des voix des personnes directement affect\u00e9es par les inondations et les submersions, notamment au Bangladesh et dans les \u00eeles basses du Pacifique. Deuxi\u00e8mement, l\u2019int\u00e9gration des connaissances scientifiques et des conseils d\u2019experts comme fondement. Troisi\u00e8mement, l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation et l\u2019affinement de la chor\u00e9graphie en studio avec des citoyens et des artistes. \u00c0 travers ce processus, les donn\u00e9es et les concepts abstraits se transforment en exp\u00e9rience incarn\u00e9e, et le savoir devient compr\u00e9hension v\u00e9cue.<\/div>
Chaque participant apporte son propre rythme et son exp\u00e9rience, r\u00e9activant les liens subtils entre mouvement, m\u00e9moire, action et r\u00e9sonance. L\u2019\u0153uvre interroge ce que signifie \u00ab\u00a0participer\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0observer\u00a0\u00bb dans un monde fragment\u00e9, tandis que le corps porte r\u00e9cit, m\u00e9moire et avenir, affirmant sa pr\u00e9sence.<\/div>

En int\u00e9grant les connaissances scientifiques et juridiques \u00e0 l\u2019exp\u00e9rience corporelle, Atlas des Souffles prend la forme d\u2019une partition chor\u00e9graphique ouverte, incarnant la relation circulaire entre corps, environnement, science et droit. La danse invite \u00e0 l\u2019introspection et ouvre des perspectives qui relient l\u2019exp\u00e9rience individuelle au monde. Ici, l\u2019art ne se contente pas de repr\u00e9senter la crise climatique\u00a0: il nous permet de la ressentir, de questionner et de relier nos relations.<\/p>

Atlas des Souffles (Atlas of Breaths) explores migration and the climate crisis through dance and movement. Japanese choreographer and interdisciplinary artist Anan Atoyama develops the concept of \u201cdirect creation,\u201d in which the work emerges in real time through the participation of the audience. Spectators may choose simply to observe or to engage actively, witnessing human sculptures and living compositions that gradually take shape.<\/div>
The choreography unfolds through a three-part cycle. First, listening to the voices of people directly affected by floods and rising waters, particularly in Bangladesh and the low-lying islands of the Pacific. Second, integrating scientific knowledge and expert advice as a foundation. Third, experimenting with and refining the choreography in the studio together with citizens and artists. Through this process, data and abstract concepts are transformed into embodied experience, and knowledge becomes lived understanding.<\/div>
Each participant brings their own rhythm and experience, reactivating the subtle links between movement, memory, action, and resonance. The work questions what it means to \u201cparticipate\u201d or to \u201cobserve\u201d in a fragmented world, while the body carries story, memory, and future, asserting its presence.<\/div>
By integrating scientific and legal knowledge into bodily experience, Atlas des Souffles takes the form of an open choreographic score, embodying the circular relationship between body, environment, science, and law. Dance invites introspection and opens perspectives that connect individual experience to the world. Here, art does not merely represent the climate crisis: it allows us to feel it, question it, and reconnect our relationships.<\/div><\/div>

\u00ab\u00a0Le climatologue Saleemul Huq (1952\u20132023), qui a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 toutes les conf\u00e9rences des Nations unies sur le climat (COP), avait coutume de comparer notre situation plan\u00e9taire \u00e0 celle du Titanic : un navire en train de sombrer, structur\u00e9 en trois niveaux : les plus pauvres dans les cales, les plus riches sur les ponts sup\u00e9rieurs, et, entre les deux, une classe moyenne flottante. Et, comme dans l\u2019histoire bien connue, ce sont toujours les plus vuln\u00e9rables qui p\u00e9rissent en premier. Une m\u00e9taphore simple, mais terriblement juste.<\/i><\/p>

Ce projet ne cherche pas \u00e0 d\u00e9signer des coupables, ni \u00e0 pointer du doigt. Il propose plut\u00f4t un dispositif sensible, un espace o\u00f9 chacun peut reconsid\u00e9rer la situation depuis un point de vue nouveau. Un lieu o\u00f9 des personnes qui ne se reverront peut-\u00eatre jamais peuvent, le temps d\u2019un instant partag\u00e9, dessiner ensemble \u2014 \u00e0 travers le geste, l\u2019\u00e9coute, le doute \u2014 une forme de po\u00e9sie faite de questions et de souhaits encore informul\u00e9s.<\/i><\/p>

Parce que nous vivons un moment de bascule, o\u00f9 l\u2019espoir semble parfois lointain, il est d\u2019autant plus crucial de cr\u00e9er des espaces de calme actif, de dialogue sinc\u00e8re en silence. Des lieux o\u00f9 l\u2019on respire\u00a0ensemble, o\u00f9 la pr\u00e9sence retrouve son sens, et o\u00f9, au c\u0153ur m\u00eame du d\u00e9sastre, une autre mani\u00e8re d\u2019\u00eatre au monde peut \u00e9merger.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/i><\/p>
